Testing Precautions

If an 18, 19 or 20 series Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is stored in ABS control module, no other DTCs will be stored until all 18, 19 or 20 series DTCs have been serviced and cleared. Control module cannot store DTCs with same first digit (25 and 26). Lowest number DTC (25) will be stored first. DTCs must be serviced in order received and cleared before continuing. Drive vehicle at about 25 MPH and check for additional DTCs.

Solenoid valve DTCs will override all other DTCs stored. If no DTCs are stored, system has passed self-test. If DTCs are present, refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IDENTIFICATION  table. If BRAKE warning light is on or comes on intermittently, go to WARNING LIGHT SYMPTOM SEQUENCE CHART. See Figure .
