Pinpoint Test D - Up/Down Lifting FUNC Does Not Work Properly

  1. Disconnect seat motor connector. Using fused jumper wires, connect motor terminal No. 3 (Red/Light Green wire) to battery voltage. Momentarily connect motor terminal No. 1 (Yellow/Light Green wire) to ground. Seat should operate smoothly. Reverse jumper wires at connector. Seat should operate smoothly in opposite direction. Replace motor if operation is not as specified.
  2. Reconnect wiring to motor. Disconnect switch connector. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to harness connector pin No. 5 (Red/Light Green wire). Momentarily connect terminal No. 4 (Yellow/Light Green wire) to ground. Seat should move smoothly. Reverse jumper wires at connector. Seat should move smoothly in opposite direction. If seat moves as specified, test power seat switch. Repair appropriate wire if operation is not as specified.
