Testing Precautions

NOTE: ABS control module cannot recognize some system failures. If no DTCs exist, but symptoms exist, see ABS SYMPTOM/TEST INDEX table.

Lowest number DTC will be stored first. DTCs must be serviced in order received and cleared before continuing. If DTCs are stored, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS . After servicing stored DTC(s), perform ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST to check for additional DTCs. If symptoms exist, but no DTC(s) are stored, see ABS SYMPTOM/TEST INDEX table.
