Keyless Entry Keypad

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Lincoln Navigator and 2002 Ford Expedition. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Using keyless entry keypad, enter factory permanent code from sticker. Factory sticker is located on central security module.
  2. Press 1/2 button within 5 seconds of entering factory permanent code to activate programming mode. Holding 1/2 button for more than 2 seconds after activation will erase stored customer code. Door locks will LOCK, then UNLOCK to confirm code is erased. Existing code does not need to be erased to program new code.
  3. Within 5 seconds, enter new keypad code. Door locks will LOCK, then UNLOCK to confirm new code has been programmed.
