July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Test 1: No Communication With Anti-Lock Control Module (ABCM)

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ABCM connector (C135). Turn ignition on. Using a DVOM, measure voltage between ABCM connector terminal No. 9 (Red wire) and ground. Measure voltage between ABCM connector terminal No. 20 (Pink/Yellow wire) and ground. Measure voltage between ABCM connector terminal No. 25 (Red wire) and ground. If voltages are more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltages are less than 10 volts, repair faulty circuit(s)
  2. Turn ignition off. Measure resistance between ABCM connector terminal No. 8 (Black/Yellow wire) and ground. Measure resistance between ABCM connector terminal No. 24 (Black/Yellow wire) and ground. If resistances are less than 5 ohms, see appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. If resistances are more than 5 ohms, repair circuit(s).
