July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Test P: AUTOLAMPS On Continuously

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Turn autolamps off. If headlights do not go off, go to next step. If headlights turn off, system is operating properly at this time.
  2. Disconnect autolamp sensor 6-pin harness connector C287. If headlights do not go off, go to next step. If headlights go off, replace autolamp sensor. See AUTOLAMP SENSOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  3. Disconnect Instrument Cluster Module (instrument cluster) 22-pin harness connector C220c. If headlights do not go off, go to next step. If headlights go off, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  4. Disconnect headlight switch 10-pin harness connector C205. If headlights go off, replace headlight switch. If headlights do not go off, check and repair short to power in Gray/Orange wire between headlight switch and instrument cluster.
