The audio unit is inoperative/does not operate correctly	Circuitry. Audio unit.	Go To PINPOINT TEST B: THE AUDIO UNIT IS INOPERATIVE/DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY .
The audio unit does not operate correctly-display is frozen or no graphics are displayed-navigation audio unit only	Circuitry. Audio unit. Navigation system module.	REFER to ELECTRONIC FEATURE .
Poor reception	Antenna. Antenna connections. Noise suppression equipment. Antenna module. Audio unit.	Go To PINPOINT TEST C: POOR RECEPTION .
Radio reception is poorer with the defroster activated	Defroster grid	INSPECT the defroster grid for damaged grid lines. REPAIR as necessary. TEST the system for normal operation. If the concern is still present, Go To PINPOINT TEST C: POOR RECEPTION .
Continuous SEEK/SCAN in AM/FM	Antenna. Antenna connections. Noise suppression equipment. Antenna module. Audio unit.	Go To PINPOINT TEST C: POOR RECEPTION .
Poor quality/distorted sound from one or more speakers (not all speakers)-except navigation audio unit	Speaker(s). Circuitry. Audio unit. Center imaging amplifier.	Go To PINPOINT TEST D: POOR QUALITY/DISTORTED SOUND OR NO SOUND FROM ONE OR MORE SPEAKERS (NOT ALL SPEAKERS)-EXCEPT NAVIGATION AUDIO UNIT .
Poor quality/distorted sound from one or more speakers (not all speakers)-navigation audio unit	Speaker(s). Circuitry. Audio amplifier. Audio unit. Subwoofer amplifier.	Go To PINPOINT TEST E: POOR QUALITY/DISTORTED SOUND OR NO SOUND FROM ONE OR MORE SPEAKERS (NOT ALL SPEAKERS)-NAVIGATION AUDIO UNIT ONLY .
Poor quality/distorted sound from all speakers	Audio unit.	If the audio unit illuminates Go To PINPOINT TEST B: THE AUDIO UNIT IS INOPERATIVE/DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY . If the audio unit does not illuminate, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation.
No sound from one or more of the speakers (not all speakers)-except navigation audio unit	Speaker(s). Circuitry. Audio unit. Center imaging amplifier.	Go To PINPOINT TEST D: POOR QUALITY/DISTORTED SOUND OR NO SOUND FROM ONE OR MORE SPEAKERS (NOT ALL SPEAKERS)-EXCEPT NAVIGATION AUDIO UNIT .

No sound from all speakers	Audio unit.	If the audio unit illuminates Go To PINPOINT TEST B: THE AUDIO UNIT IS INOPERATIVE/DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY . If the audio unit does not illuminate REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation.
The subwoofer is inoperative-CDX6 only	Circuitry. Subwoofer.	Go To PINPOINT TEST F: THE SUBWOOFER IS INOPERATIVE-CDX6 ONLY .
The subwoofer is inoperative-navigation audio unit only	Circuitry. Subwoofer.	Go To PINPOINT TEST G: THE SUBWOOFER IS INOPERATIVE-- NAVIGATION AUDIO UNIT ONLY .
The auxiliary audio control is inoperative/does not operate correctly - steering wheel control switches	Circuitry. Audio unit. Steering wheel control switches. Horn switch. Clockspring. PCM.	Go To PINPOINT TEST H: THE AUXILIARY AUDIO CONTROL IS INOPERATIVE/DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY-STEERING WHEEL CONTROL SWITCHES .
Loud popping sound when cycling the ignition-CDX6 navigation audio unit only	Subwoofer. Circuitry.	Go To PINPOINT TEST I: LOUD POPPING SOUND WHEN CYCLING THE IGNITION-CDX6 AND NAVIGATION AUDIO UNIT ONLY .
