Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

KNOCK SENSOR (KS)

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the lower intake manifold.







3. Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

Item 2: KS Removal Note
1. Release the KS harness from the retaining clip before removing the KS.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 2: KS Installation Note
1. Attach the KS harness to the retaining clip after installing KS.
