Air Cleaner Assembly: Notes

  1. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

    To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps:

    AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL STEPS

    Part Steps
    Air cleaner outlet tube 2-7
    Air cleaner element 1 and 8-10
    Air cleaner outlet tube and cover assembly 1-5 and 8-9
    Air cleaner assembly 1-5, 11

    2. NOTE: It is not necessary to carry out this step when installing a new air cleaner element.
  2. Remove the engine appearance cover.
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
