STARTER MOTOR RELAY PINOUT DESCRIPTION

Pin Number(s) Circuit Designation/Description Normal Condition/Measurement
85 CKT 33 (WT/PK) starter motor relay to transmission range (TR) sensor Greater than 10 volts with ignition in START position.
86 CKT 461 (OR) starter motor relay to powertrain control module (PCM) 10,000 ohms or greater to chassis ground and 0 volts.
30 CKT 1050 (LG/VT) starter relay to power distribution box (PDB) Greater than 10 volts at all times.
87 CKT 113 (YE/LB) starter motor relay to starter motor S terminal Greater than 10 volts with ignition in START position.
