Parking Brake Module:

Removal

NOTE: If installing a new EPB module, the module must be configured. Follow the diagnostic tool instructions for configuring the EPB module. For additional information, refer to Body Control Systems.

1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Position the LH luggage compartment trim panel aside.
3. Disconnect the 2 EPB module electrical connectors.
4. Remove the 2 nuts and the EPB module.
^ To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ If installing a new EPB module, configure the module. For configuration additional information, refer to Body Control Systems.
