Functional Components

The functional components of the audio system and their location are:

• Audio Front Control Module (ACM)
• Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM), located under the floor console
• Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module, located behind the center base of the instrument panel
• Audio Rear Control Unit (RCU) module, located at the rear of the floor console
• Global Positioning System Module (GPSM), located behind the instrument panel
• SDARS, for Navigators without navigation, located under the floor console
• Subwoofer amplifier, located behind the RH quarter trim panel
• Audio amplifier, located behind the center of the instrument panel
• Speakers, see AUDIO LINE-UP  for locations
• Antenna isolator module, located behind the RH C-pillar trim panel
• Satellite radio antenna or combination Global Positioning System (GPS)/satellite radio antenna, located at the RH front of the roof
• AM/FM antenna cable (2-piece)
• Satellite radio antenna cable
• Steering wheel controls
• Universal Serial Bus (USB) port and cable, located in the floor console
• Audio input jack, located in the floor console
• Clockspring
• Microphone
