Pinpoint Test P : The FCDIM (Front Control/Display Interface Module) Does Not Respond To The Diagnostic Scan Tool: Notes

The Front Control/Display Interface Module (FCDIM) Does Not Respond To The Diagnostic Scan Tool

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The FCDIM communicates with the diagnostic scan tool through the HS-CAN3. Diagnostic messages are sent/received between the DLC and the diagnostic scan tool through the HS-CAN2 circuits at the DLC, and translated through the GWM to the HS-CAN3.

Possible Sources 

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks 

Verify BCM fuse 32 (10A) is OK.
