DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition GSM U0301:00 Software Incompatibility with ECM/PCM: No Sub Type Information The GSM detected the incorrect PCM software is installed. Possible Sources
- PCM calibration
- PCM
- O1 PROGRAM THE PCM (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) WITH THE LATEST SOFTWARE
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear all DTCs from the GSM
- Reprogram the PCM with the latest calibration. REFER to: Module Programming .
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the PCM and GSM self-tests.
Is DTC U0301 present in the GSM?
Yes Refer to PCM GUIDED ROUTINE TESTING . No The fault is not present at this time. It may have been caused by a module programming error.
