Duty Solenoid Valves

The duty solenoid valves consist of vent and vacuum valves. Their purpose is to control vacuum to EGR valve. Duty solenoid valves are controlled by signals from the ECU.

The vent valve is connected to the air cleaner and controls fresh air flow to duty solenoid valve. The vacuum valve controls intake manifold vacuum flow.
