Power Steering Switch

  1. Start engine and run at idle. Unplug power steering switch connector from steering gear housing. Turn steering wheel all the way to the left or right. Ensure there is continuity between the switch terminals.
  2. When steering system pressure is above 355 psi (25 kg/cm2 ), switch should be on. At pressures below 355 psi (25 kg/cm2 ), switch should be off.
