1. Remove the valve.
2. Plug the No. 1 port and attach a vacuum pump to the No. 3 port Fig. 39.
3. Blow into the exhaust gas port. Operate the vacuum pump and confirm vacuum is held.
4. Release the exhaust gas port and confirm that the vacuum is released.
