1. Disconnect connector from throttle sensor and connect tool 499200165 or equivalent Fig. 20.

2. Insert .02 inch thickness gage between throttle stop screw and stop lever Fig. 21.
3. Loosen two throttle sensor attaching screws.

4. Rotate throttle position sensor clockwise approximately 30°, then rotate it back counterclockwise until buzzer sounds Fig. 23.

5. Replace thickness gage with .027 inch gage and, if buzzer sounds, Fig. 22 repeat steps 3 and 4.
6. Tighten two attaching screws. Be careful not to move throttle sensor from set position when tightening screws.
7. Open throttle valve fully a few times, then recheck adjustment.
