B)Installation of Control Unit No. 1

2) Disconnect the front wire harness and the emission wire harness connectors. Figure 4.





3) Connect the short cord (No. 3) between the front wire harness and emission wire harness connectors. Figure 5.

4) Attach the connector to the control unit (No. 1).

5) Disconnect the ECU center connector.





6) Install brown wire from short cord (No. 3), to brown wire from ECU center connector with a butt splice connector. Figure 6.


7) Reconnect ECU center connector.

8) Fasten wire harness with band (No. 6)

9) Adjust the idle speed to the highest rpm specified in Section 4 of the Workshop Manual.

10) Make sure no vacuum is applied to fuel pressure regulator for 15 seconds after starting.
