EGR Solenoid
- Disconnect hoses and blow through vent hose. Ensure air flows. Disconnect solenoid connector. See Fig 1
.
- Apply 12 volts to Violet/White wire connector of solenoid and ground both Red/Black wire connectors of solenoid. Blow through vacuum hose and ensure air does not flow. Replace solenoid if not okay.
- Blow through vacuum hose and ensure air does not flow. Apply 12 volts to Yellow/Red wire connector of solenoid and ground both Red/Black wire connectors of solenoid. Blow through vacuum hose and ensure air does flow. Replace solenoid if not okay.
