Checking Fluid Level

  1. Park vehicle on level ground. Apply parking brake. Warm engine to normal operating temperature. With engine idling, briefly place selector lever in all gears and return it to "P" position.
  2. Clean dipstick and insert it in tube. Remove dipstick. Level should be between "L" and "F" marks. Check fluid for discoloration and unusual smell. If necessary, add fluid. DO NOT overfill.
