Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Description and Operation

The Main Relay (also referred to as EGI Relay), located in a relay panel mounted forward of the right strut tower, supplies power to the ECU and a number of ECU controlled devices when the ignition switch is turned "ON."

These devices include the igniter, fuel injectors, and a variety of solenoid valves. The ECU operates these devices by completing the circuit to ground when necessary.
