Relay Box (Fail-Safe Relay Resistance Test)
- Measure resistance between terminals "C" (Black/Blue wire) and "D" (Black/White wire) of relay box connector. Resistance should be 60-100 ohms. Replace relay box if resistance is not as specified. If resistance is as specified, go to next step.
- Ensure continuity exists between relay box connector terminal "A" (Black wire) and terminal "E" (Yellow/Black wire). Ensure continuity does not exist between terminal "B" (Blue/Red wire) and terminal "E" (Yellow/Black wire). Replace relay box if it does not test as specified. If relay box tests okay, go to next step.
- Apply 12 volts to terminal "D" (Black/White wire) and ground terminal "C" (Black/Blue wire). Ensure continuity exists between terminal "B" (Blue/Red wire) and terminal "E" (Yellow/Black wire). Ensure continuity does not exist between terminal "A" (Black wire) and terminal "E" (Yellow/Black wire). Replace relay box if it does not test as specified.
