Precontrol Actuator
- Ensure engine is cool. Remove hose connected to actuator. Connect air pressure source to pressure gauge. See Fig 1
. Apply air pressure to actuator.
CAUTION:
DO NOT allow pressure to exceed 14 psi (1.0 kg/cm2
).
- Apply 10-14 psi (0.7-1.0 kg/cm2
) of compressed air. Ensure actuator rod moves when air pressure is applied. If actuator rod does not move, replace precontrol actuator.
