Throttle Full Close Switch: Adjustments

THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
Adjustment of Integral Closed Throttle Position Switch:

CAUTION:
- The throttle position sensor is adjusted at the factory before shipment.
- Unnecessary adjustment will negatively affect engine performance.
- Adjusting the throttle position sensor by using the throttle adjusting screw (TAS) will negatively affect engine performance.






1. Verify that the throttle valve is at the closed throttle position.
2. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
3. Loosen the attaching screws.




4. Insert a feeler gauge between the throttle adjusting screw (TAS) and the throttle lever.







5. Adjust the continuity between the closed throttle position switch terminals C and D by using an ohmmeter.
6. Tighten the attaching screws.

Tightening torque: 1.6 - 2.3 Nm (14 - 20 in.lb.)
