DTC P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Malfunction: Condition
DTC is set when vehicle speed signal is less than 2.4 MPH for more than 33 second while driving vehicle with engine speed is greater than 2000 RPM . Possible causes are:
- Vehicle speed sensor malfunction.
- Open or short circuit between ground and VSS.
- Open or short circuit between vehicle speed sensor and terminal No. 1M on Engine Control Module (ECM).
