Knock Sensor: Testing and Inspection

KNOCK SENSOR INSPECTION

1. Verify that the ignition switch is at OFF.
2. Disconnect knock sensor connector.
3. Measure the resistance between knock sensor terminal and the knock sensor body using an ohmmeter.
- If not as specified, replace the knock sensor.

Specification: Approx. 560 kilohms [20 °C {68 °F}]
