Detection Condition

• DTC P0107 indicates MAP sensor operating voltage is less than 0.25 volt (VREF).
• DTC P0108 indicates MAP sensor operating voltage is more than 5 volts (VREF).
• DTC P0109 indicates MAP sensor signal to PCM is intermittently failing.

MAP sensor measures intake manifold absolute air pressure. PCM uses signal from MAP sensor, Throttle Position (TP) sensor Mass Airflow/Intake Air Temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor, Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor and Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor to calculate how much exhaust gas is introduced into intake manifold.
