Removal Note

NOTE:
  • Axle tube bushing removal shown, axle housing bushing is a similar procedure.
  1. Remove the front axle assembly; see AXLE ASSEMBLY FRONT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  .
  2. Position the tube bushing removal or equivalent tools.
    1. Position Bushing Remover/Replacer Cup SST  205-371 (T96T-5638-E) or equivalent.
    2. Position Drawbolt SST  205-374 (T96T-5638-H) or equivalent.
    3. Thread the Bushing Remover Adapter SST  205-376 (T96T-5638-K) on the Drawbolt SST  .

  3. Tighten the Drawbolt SST  to remove the bushing.
