Flex Plate: Service and Repair

DRIVE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove the transmission.

2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Set the SST against the engine.
2. Remove the bolts and the drive plate.

Drive Plate Installation Note





1. Set the SST against the engine.
2. Tighten the drive plate mounting bolts in two or three steps.
Tightening torque 41.2 - 61.8 Nm (4.2 - 6.3 kgf-cm, 30.4 - 45.5 ft. lbs.)
3. Install the transmission.
