Speed Control Actuator: Removal

Disconnect the battery ground cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
Press the locking tab and rotate the cruise control cable cap to remove.

Disconnect the cruise control cable from the cruise control actuator pulley.
1. Gently push the retaining spring.
2. Disconnect the cruise control cable slug from the cruise control actuator pulley.

Remove the cruise control actuator assembly.
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Separate the wire harness from the bracket.
3. Remove the nuts.

Remove the bolts and separate the cruise control actuator from the bracket.
