Power Transistor HVAC: Service and Repair

POWER METAL OXIDE SEMICONDUCTOR FIELD EFFECT TRANSISTOR (POWER MOS FET) REMOVAL/ INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Disconnect the power MOS FET connector.




4. Remove the power MOS FET as shown in the figure.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
6. Perform the refrigerant system performance test. Refrigerant System Performance Test
