DTC P0690 (MZI-3.5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

| DETECTION CONDITION |
- This DTC sets when the passive anti theft system (PATS) system indicates the key is in the OFF, ACC, or LOCK position and the ignition switch position run circuit indicates ON or START position.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Short to power supply between battery positive terminal and PCM terminal 1 BD
- PATS system malfunction
- Ignition switch malfunction
