The frame consists of 2 steel channel rails, a rear cross- member, a number of additional support crossmembers and a front crossmember.

The No. 1A (4WD only) and the No. 1 crossmembers are welded to the frame side rails. The remaining frame crossmembers are riveted and/or bolted into place.
