Blower Motor: Service and Repair

BLOWER MOTOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

Blower Motor Removal/Installation:

1. Disconnect the speed control actuator electrical connector.
2. Remove the speed control actuator bolt and position the speed control actuator aside.

- To install, tighten to 11 N.m (8 ft.lbf).

3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
4. Remove the blower motor vent tube
5. Remove the 4 blower motor screws and the blower motor.
6. Remove the blower motor wheel clip.
7. Remove the blower motor wheel.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
