Fluid - M/T: Testing and Inspection

MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL INSPECTION

Note:
^ Park the vehicle on level ground.

1. Remove the oil level plug and washer.





2. Verify that the fluid is just below the fill plug hole.
3. If the oil level is low, add the specified amount and type of oil through the oil level plug hole.

Specified oil grade:
MERCON or M-III

4. Install a new washer and the oil level plug.

Tightening torque
48 Nm (4.9 kgf-m, 35 ft-lbf)
