If simulation function of M-MDS is used:
- Perform the Fuel Pump Operation Inspection.
- Remove the fuel-filler cap.
- Crank the engine and inspect if the sound frequency of the fuel pump is higher than during idling.
- If it cannot be verified, inspect the following:
- Fuel pump resister
- Wiring harness and connectors (open circuit at fuel pump speed control relay terminal C - fuel pump relay terminal D)
