Rear Window Glass: Removal

- Remove the rear window glass garnish molding.
- Remove the headliner. See
Headliner
.
- Remove the rear window glass nuts.
NOTE:
- Use only a plastic windshield setting tool to slide under the rubber seal to separate the foam butyl from the glass. Once the glass starts to separate from the body, constant hand pressure will break the seal and the glass can be removed. Failure to use a plastic windshield setting tool can damage the body or the glass frame.
- Remove the rear window glass.
