Body and Frame: Service Precautions
CAUTION
- Before placing the vehicle in a paint booth, insure that the high voltage traction battery (HVTB) is not installed in the vehicle. High paint booth temperatures may damage the HTVB.
- Place the service disconnect plug into the SERVICING SHIPPING position while carrying out any vehicle modifications. If the service disconnect plug is left out and placed on the bench or toolbox, dirt or other contaminants may enter the HTVB, which can cause damage.
