Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.5L










1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See Lifting.

2. Disconnect the MAP electrical connector.

3. Using a tool like KD Tool #58181 or Lisle T25 Torx Bit, remove the screw and the MAP sensor.

- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (0.3 kgf-m, 27 in-lbf).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:Lubricate the MAP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
