Request Switch Inspection: Liftgate

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the inboard light. (See INBOARD LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the request switch (liftgate). (See REQUEST SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify the continuity of request switch terminals A and B.

Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the request switch.
