Visual Inspection
- Remove the APV position sensor. (See AUXILIARY PORT VALVE (APV) POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that there are no metal shavings on the sensor.
- Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the inspection results.
