PINPOINT TEST 9: THE FRONT DISPLAY INTERFACE MODULE (FDIM) IS COMPLETELY INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation

The front display interface module (FDIM) receives voltage through circuit (BR/R) and ground through circuit (B/L). The ignition switch position message is sent to the FDIM by the smart junction box (SJB) via the medium speed controller area network (MS-CAN).Information from the audio system, the climate control system, and the compass heading (if equipped) are shown on the FDIM display screen.
