Key Interlock System Inspection
- Switch the ignition to ON.
- Perform the following procedures to inspect the key interlock system.
- If there is any malfunction, inspect the interlock cable. (See SELECTOR LEVER INSPECTION .)
- Verify that the ignition cannot be turned to the OFF position when the selector lever is not in the P position.
- Verify that the ignition can be turned to the OFF position when the selector lever is in the P position.
