Flex Plate: Service and Repair

DRIVE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS5A-EL]

1. Remove the transaxle. Automatic Transaxle Removal/Installation

2. Remove in the order shown in the figure.

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.









Drive Plate Installation Bolt Removal Note

1. Set the SST to the engine.






2. Remove the drive plate installation bolts uniformly in the order shown in the figure.

Drive Plate Installation Bolt Installation Note

1. Set the SST to the engine.






2. Tighten new drive plate installation bolts uniformly in two or three passes in the order shown in the figure.

Tightening torque
- 108-116 Nm {11.1-11.8 kgf-m, 80-85 ft-lbf}
