Trip Computer: Testing and Inspection

INFO SWITCH INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Front scuff plate (Driver side) Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

b. Front side trim (Driver side) Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

c. Upper panel Upper Panel Removal/Installation

d. Decoration panel (Driver side) Decoration Panel Removal/Installation

e. Hood release lever Service and Repair

f. Meter hood Meter Hood Removal/Installation

g. Lower panel (Driver side) Lower Panel Removal/Installation

h. INFO switch Service and Repair

3. Verify that the continuity between the INFO switch terminals is as indicated in the table.






- If not as indicated in the table, replace the INFO switch.






4. Apply battery positive voltage to INFO switch terminal E, and connect terminal A to ground.

5. Verify that the LED illuminates.

- If there is any malfunction, replace the INFO switch.
