Power Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch Inspection: Notes

- Inspect the following if the power steering is inoperative: (See POWER STEERING FLUID INSPECTION

- Power steering fluid level
- Power steering fluid leakage
- Power steering fluid pressure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Disconnect the PSP switch connector.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Start the engine.
- Inspect for continuity between PSP switch terminal A and body ground.
- If not as specified, replace the PSP switch. (See POWER STEERING OIL PUMP DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [MZR 2.5] .)
