| 1 | INSPECT FUSE

Yes | Install the fuse, then go to the next step. |
| No | Replace the fuse. | ||
| 2 | INSPECT SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CONTROL MODULE CONNECTOR
WARNING:

Yes | Replace the malfunctioning part, then go to Step 6. |
| No | Replace the wiring harness. | ||
| 3 | INSPECT SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CONTROL MODULE CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
|
Yes | Refer to the
wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between seat weight sensor control module terminal and fuse block terminal. If there is a common connector:
If there is no common connector:
Go to Step 6. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 4 | INSPECT SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CONTROL MODULE CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Refer to the
wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between seat weight sensor control module terminal and fuse block terminal. If there is a common connector:
If there is no common connector:
Go to Step 6. |

| 5 | INSPECT SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CONTROL MODULE CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Refer to the
wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between seat weight sensor control module terminal and fuse block terminal. If there is a common connector:
If there is no common connector:
Go to the next step. |

| 6 | PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION

Yes | Replace the seat weight sensor control module. (See SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) |
| No | DTC troubleshooting completed. | ||
