Sliding Door
- Half open the door glass.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts:
- Side door garnish (See SIDE DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
.)
- Rear side trim (See REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
.)
- Sliding door trim (See SLIDING DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
.)
- Disconnect the door lock wire.
CAUTION:
- When removing the service hole cover, remove it while pulling out it so that it does not contact the door lock wire. Otherwise, the door lock wires may bend.
- Remove the screws.

- Remove the service hole cover in the direction of the arrow (1), then remove the service hole cover in the direction of the arrow (2) while avoiding the wires.

CAUTION:
- When removing the power window motor, insert a hand through the service hole, and lower the sliding door glass to the bottom most position while supporting the glass with your hand. Otherwise, the glass may fall off.

- Disconnect the power window motor connector.

- Remove the power window motor bolts.

- Remove the power window motor from the power window regulator drum.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
