Auto Closure Does Not Operate: Notes

Description

The auto closure does not operate with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

Possible Causes

Dirt or foreign matter on power liftgate (PLG) touch sensor
Liftgate latch and lock actuator malfunction
Power liftgate (PLG) control module malfunction
Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 2J and liftgate latch and lock actuator terminal A
- Power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 2G and liftgate latch and lock actuator terminal B
Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 2J and liftgate latch and lock actuator terminal A
- Power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 2G and liftgate latch and lock actuator terminal B
